Saturday services set for Roosevelt E. Willis, Jr.

With hearts full of love, we honor the life of Roosevelt E. Willis, Jr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and servant of God. Born in Monroe, Louisiana, Roosevelt’s deep faith guided his life, leading him to serve his community and the body of Christ in several capacities at Liberty Christian Center.

A proud Carroll High School graduate (1966), Roosevelt earned a business degree from Washburn University in 1975. His decades-long career spanned engineering, insurance, and entrepreneurship, always marked by integrity.

Roosevelt married his high school sweetheart, Irma J. Jackson, in 1967, building a loving home and raising three children: Leisha Willis, Tiffany Jackson (Milton), and Roland B. Willis, I (Amy). An avid tennis player, golfer, and community advocate, he was dedicated to uplifting others through mentoring, tutoring, and ministry.

He leaves cherished memories with his children, grandchildren: Tiesha Jackson, Mikayla Jackson, Zoë Jackson, Roland B. Willis, II, and Rachel Willis; siblings, and many whose lives he touched. His enduring legacy of faith, love, and service continues to inspire all who knew him.

Services are entrusted to Miller Funeral Home of Monroe, Louisiana, The homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 2 PM at Liberty Christian Center of Monroe, Louisiana.
