Saulsberry: “What happened to consumer science in school?”

What happened to home economics or family consumer science in the city schools? That was a question asked by city school board member Rick Saulsberry Tuesday?

Saulsberry posed the question during a meeting of the district’s curriculum committee held in the district board room. He said he had been approached by several teachers and constituents complaining about the lack of home economics in city schools.
