Two local companies have been selected to help kickstart portions of the Southside Dream in 2023 as the Southside Economic Development begins the first four projects of its ambitious 25-year plan to fight crime, build safe neighborhoods, and attract business to South Monroe.
Sonya Jacobs of JDS Consulting, and Tim Brandon of TBA designs, will manage the details of implementing the first phases of SEDD’s safe neighborhood initiative and its Disadvantage Business initiative.
In its monthly meeting Monday night, Tony Little, SEDD president, said the board is utilizing the finances it has on hand to begin implementation of the Southside Dream.
