SEDD approves 25-year $300 million economic plan for Southside

The Southside Economic Development District has approved and will be submitting a 25-year economic development plan for South Monroe for city council approval.

The SEDD Board approved the plan in its March 7th meeting and conducted its final public hearing Wednesday.

According to Tony Little, president of SEDD, the plan spans 25 years and covers four areas of economic development, two neighborhood improvement areas, and housing development.
