Funeral services for Donna Ruth Delony Colquette, 73, of West Monroe, Louisiana, will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe, with Dr. Dwight Munn officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Donna was born on December 31, 1952, in Homer, Louisiana, to the late H. F. “Buster” Delony and Ruth Delony. She entered into the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 3, 2026.

Donna was a faithful member of Cedar Crest Baptist Church in West Monroe for many years, where she enjoyed attending Sunday School and worship services.

For more than 20 years, Donna faithfully served as the Administrative Secretary for the NLU/ULM Police Department. Following her retirement, she embraced life’s simple pleasures, including trips to the beach, working crossword puzzles, and spending precious time with her family and friends. Of all her greatest joys, nothing compared to the love she had for her granddaughter, Sawyer.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, H. F. “Buster” and Ruth Delony; her sister, Minneola “Minnie” Delony Knowles; and her nephew, John Thomas Key.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving and devoted husband of 51 years, Paul Colquette; her sons, Brad Colquette and wife Jennifer, and Jared Colquette; her beloved granddaughter, Sawyer Colquette; her sisters, Debbie Key and husband Steven, and Cindy Franklin and husband Durwood; her nephews, Ben Knowles and wife Kim, and Justin Cardwell and wife Susan; her niece, Leah DeRouen and husband Luke; along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were blessed by her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love.
