Ruby Lee Banks Easter passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025, at the age of 75. Born February 1, 1949, in Newellton, Louisiana, to Jimmy Nash and Johnnie B. Burch, Ruby lived a life dedicated to family, faith, and service to others.
After graduating from Eastside High School in 1967, Ruby united in marriage with Melvin Easter, embarking on a loving partnership that would span 50 years. Their union was blessed with three children: Mark, Elvin, and April.
