Family, friends, and colleagues gathered on Saturday, December 9, 2023, to pay their final respects to Daisy Marie Franklin, a dedicated veteran support worker of Wossman High School. The funeral service was held at Jesus Holy Temple in Monroe, Louisiana, following a visitation the previous evening at McFarland Funeral Companies.
Daisy Marie Franklin was born on December 15, 1960, to Evelyn J. Franklin and the late Isaac Franklin of Alto, Louisiana. She was the beloved sister of Wilbert Young and Jerry Franklin and graduated from Carroll High School before dedicating 23 years of her life to serving the students and staff at Wossman High School.
