A funeral service is set for Tuesday for a man known affectionately as “Q” who was an apparent drowning victim Sunday.
Service for Quinton Carter, Sr. will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Greater Free Gift Baptist Church.
Carter’s body was found in the city’s own swimming pool at the Marbles Recreation Center. The pool was closed and had not opened to the public for the summer and is surrounded by a tall, locked fence.
