Several city school teachers, students test COVID positive

It’s been kept hush-hush for fear of creating a panic, but teachers and staff at several Monroe City Schools are on alert because reported COVID cases at city schools.

It’s being kept quiet, but at least one senior staffer has tested positive for COVID-19 at least four times, but is asymptomatic. She was allowed to work from home after Ouachita Federation of Teachers President Sandra Lollie complained to the superintendent.
