On April 30, 2024, at approximately 1:54 AM, the Monroe Police Department responded to a shooting incident at Parkview Apartments on Richwood Road #2. Detectives found three victims at the scene, all suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victims were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Two of the victims were released shortly after being admitted, while one remains hospitalized but is expected to recover.
This shooting comes just days after another incident in Foster Heights Housing Project on April 26th, which claimed the life of 18-year-old Daniel Walker and left another youth wounded.
