The aftermath of the tragic mass shooting on Renwick Street, which followed the Carroll High School Homecoming game, has resulted in the arrest of two teenagers believed to be involved.
In a harrowing event that occurred during the block party following the homecoming game, automatic weapons were fired into the crowd. At least five attendees were wounded, and tragically, 14-year-old Dontavius Wilson lost his life.
On Monday, Monroe Police arrested a 17-year-old male related to the shooting, filing charges that included second-degree murder, two counts of carrying a weapon on school property, aggravated assault with a firearm, and possession of a handgun by a juvenile.
