Tew says rogue cop won’t be offered plea deal

There’s a rumor floating around that a sweetheart plea deal is being offered a white officer who reportedly brutalized a black homeless man back in April, but the DA says there will be no plea deal.

In Black community circles, a rumor reportedly being circulated by attorneys for Jared Desadier is that Desadier has been offered a plea deal by the District Attorney’s office that could mean he won’t see a day in jail for his part in an abuse of force incident. According to police sources, Desadier has told friends that his attorneys have paperwork from the DA in which he a plea deal in which he will plead guilty to one of the offenses, and the other would be dropped with no jail time.
