Thomas critical of Hudson’s COVID relief fund choices

In the run-up to the October 14th election, Police Jury candidate for District F, Cliff Thomas, has voiced strong criticism of the current Police Juror, Lonnie Hudson, over his distribution of Federal COVID Recovery funds.

In a news release this week, Thomas pointed out that Hudson had been granted one million dollars to provide assistance to businesses and organizations affected by the COVID 19 pandemic in District F. However, he expressed concerns over how Hudson decided to allocate the funds.
