Three arrested after Bowling Alley shootout

Three men have been arrested following a violent altercation that occurred on August 30, 2024, near Bayou Bowl on Horseshoe Lake Road in Monroe, Louisiana. The incident, which authorities describe as a premeditated attack, resulted in a shooting and a vehicular collision, leaving one person with life-threatening injuries.

The Incident

According to the Monroe Police Department, the event unfolded when 25-year-old Reginald Jackson Jr. allegedly coordinated an attack on the victim via text messages. Jackson Jr. had reportedly traveled with the victim for approximately 10 hours from Kansas to Bayou Bowl while organizing the assault.

Upon arrival at the bowling alley, Jackson Jr. was joined by his father, 45-year-old Reginald Jackson Sr., and his aunt in a white Tahoe. Simultaneously, a silver Kia Optima arrived at the scene. The suspects’ vehicles were positioned to block the victim’s escape routes.
