Raquel Gaines, the determined daughter of Regina and Roger G. Gaines Sr. has emerged as a shining star as she graduates from Tulane Law School this month. Overcoming doubts and obstacles along her educational journey, Raquel expresses heartfelt gratitude to the individuals and institutions in Monroe who supported and motivated her.
Raquel’s path toward becoming an attorney began at the University of North Texas, where she discovered her passion for effecting positive change within the legal field while earning her Bachelor of Science degree. Despite facing skepticism about her abilities, Raquel remained resolute in her dream of becoming a lawyer.
