Upcoming Events – Historic Haunts: Partying for Preservation

(Monroe, LA) — Step into history on the Ouachita at Historic Haunts: Partying for Preservation on November 2 from 6-9 PM, where Monroe’s historic gems—Layton Castle, Masur Museum of Art, and Cooley House—will open their doors for an unforgettable evening of 1920s-style celebration. Guests will party with exclusive guided tours, live entertainment, and themed cocktails, all while supporting vital preservation efforts to maintain Monroe’s architectural heritage.
Attendees can also take home a piece of history with speciality add-ons. Choose from commemorative items like a copy of “The Louisiana Architecture of William King Stubbs” by F. Lestar Martin, available at a special event price; a keepsake ornament from Masur Museum; a crafted wooden memento from Layton Castle; or take home all three!
