There’s a song by PJ Morton that says, “Yes we’ve got something special, let’s hold on and don’t let go, and I’ll never find a love, like you, this I know. If I die, I hope to find you in another life, so we can fall again, be the way we were when we FIRST BEGAN”
This past Saturday, on October 22, 2022, two hearts became One. However, this wasn’t the typical union that you’d expect a wedding ceremony to be. Yes, it required purchased rings, a proper location and even a bride and groom; but still, not typical. Lorenzo G. Brown (Wossman High Graduate, 1996), planned, orchestrated and successfully carried out a “Moment of Love” for Meranda L. Louis (Neville High Graduate, 2000).
Lorenzo, planned a family photoshoot with Wright Enterprises, to include their daughters, where the shoot incorporated a surprise proposal, then, a surprise wedding at Traylor Manor. To Meranda’s surprise, a first in her life (photoshoot) turned into an emotional expression of love from her husband. She had no idea! Family members and friends drove and flew in to attend this momentous occasion. He got with the coordinator, booked the caterer, the DJ, the shuttle bus, the photographer, the baker, the MUA and Hair professional, and put this all together.
We want to salute this new couple, and want to wish them many years of marital bliss, many experiences that will always keep their home with love, but more importantly, we hope the Will of God will propel them forward, to continue being a blessing to their community.
