Wossman names former NFL, LSU and Neville star Diarse as football coach

Monroe native and former LSU wide receiver John Diarse has been named head football coach at Wossman High School, replacing Terence Cahee who departed for McNeese State University.

Diarse, 30, brings an impressive football pedigree to the Wildcats program. As quarterback and safety at Neville High School, he led the Tigers to the Louisiana Class 4-A state championship game and earned Mr. Louisiana Football honors in 2012.
