My dad ( Earnest Potter) was a school bus driver. I was one of the students on his bus. We had to be ready and prepared when the bus arrived. In the early morning hours, the expectation was clear – be ready or be left behind. If I was not ready when he arrived, I knew I would have to take the long morning walk to school. This wasn’t just a daily routine; it was a profound life lesson in preparedness.
Life, much like a bus schedule, waits for no one. To reach our destination, we must be proactive, and ready to catch opportunities as they arrive.
