Deputy Harry Cain retires

Harry L. Cain was an employee at St. Francis Medical Center where he served for many years as an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) in the Recovery Department. While working at St. Francis, he became a Reserve Officer for the Monroe Police Department. At MPD, he served as sergeant on the Board of Reserve Officers recruiting other Reserve Officers.

After 22 years of service at St. Francis Medical Center, Harry Cain decided to become a full-time deputy with the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office. Deputy Cain is a member of the Magnolia State Peace Officers Association and earned the distinction of “Officer of the Year” in 2007. For many years, he has served in the capacity of bailiff for Louisiana Office of Workers’ Compensation, District 1-East.

Now after 23 years of true devotion to Judge Brenza Irving Jones and her staff, Deputy Harry Lee Cain has decided to retire from the workforce and spend more time with his lovely family and those incredibly adorable grandchildren.
