“It has been such a blessing to be able to support these organizations from funds raised during our 1000-Fold Blessing program held earlier this year,” stated Walker. “We took a portion of the proceeds and supported organizations in our own community. Our members came together, supported this project, and donated in a major way.”
Grace Place Ministries, The Salvation Army, and Barkdull Faulk Elementary are all doing excellent work helping those in need. “What I like the most is that each leader in those organizations has so much passion for the work they’re doing. They have a vision and mission from God to complete their assignments and it shows,” stated Walker. The Lighthouse Church is no stranger to supporting the community. Through its non-profit organization Renewal, Inc., the church has offered homebuyer education training, financial education, and entrepreneurship training for adults and youth throughout the years.
