Travis Booth, 70, of West Monroe, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2026, following a long journey with Parkinson’s disease.
Travis was born on April 1, 1956, to Woodrow and Joyce Booth. His children and grandchildren were truly his pride and joy, and he treasured the time he spent with them. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Melanie and Ricky, Jeremy and Amanda, Jessie and Andrew, and his grandchildren, Dylan Booth, Trigger and Titan Booth, and Beckett, Verdia, and Olivia Beach.
He is also survived by his nieces, who held a special place in his heart, and his lifelong friend, Bobby Murphy Jr.
Travis dedicated 43 years at Ouachita Machine Works, where he took pride in the work he did. His faith was also an important part of his life. He was a member of Luna Assembly of God, where he shared his love of music by playing bass guitar.
Travis was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Joyce Booth, and his sister, Gail Shipley.
He leaves behind a lifetime of memories his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him will cherish. His love for his family and the memories they shared will remain in their hearts.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Luna Assembly of God in West Monroe. Pastor Joel Brackett will be officiating. Interment will follow at Luna Assembly of God Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held at 12:00 PM until the time of service, Thursday, September 17, 2026.
