My Dear Friends,
I greet you in the only name that matters, and that name is Jesus the Christ.
I recall about four years ago I resigned from the position of superintendent of schools in one of the parishes in our state. Truly, I did not know where the next job opportunity would be or what I would be doing. In fact, when God revealed to me that it was time to release the position, I did not have a plan for the next employment opportunity. So, I was like any other individual who makes statements such as, “What am I going to do now?” Naturally, worry began to seep in.
My friends, God had already worked it out. After I resigned from the position as superintendent, only three days later, I received a call from the parish in which I am employed now. God did not allow me to submit applications to other employment institutions because he had already worked out what I was worried about.
With this in mind, Jesus instructs us in his word to…“Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?…Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?… for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for tomorrow for tomorrow shall take thought for the things of itself” (Selected scriptures from Matthew 6:23-34).
The above noted scriptures reveal that God has already worked out what you are worried about. So, take a moment and thank him in advance. Even though your current situation looks impossible, God makes the impossible, possible.
You may ask, “How do I know that God has worked out my situation before I can see the results?” Well, the bible tells us that “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). In other words, you must have faith that God has taken care of your needs and situations before they become a reality. Do not worry. God has worked it out.
