Dr. Eric V. Davis Day

“Behind every great school, there is a great principal.” Friday, December 6, 2019, Mayor James E. Mayo and the Monroe City Council, have declared this day, Dr. Eric V. Davis Day, in the City of Monroe. Dr. Davis was selected again as Monroe City School System – High School Principal of the Year for 2019-2020. An appreciation program and reception will be held at CHS Auditorium/Guest Room from 12:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Please come together to recognize a great principal who exemplifies a spirit of commitment and leadership. Bulldog Nation is truly blessed to have such a caring and supportive leader who goes above and beyond striving to make a difference at Carroll High Magnet School. Therefore, we are calling on his family, church family, pastors, churches, community, political leaders, businesses, alumni and friends to make this day, a huge success.

Children are his precious resource. He knows how important it is to shape and mold students to become productive in life. If we develop their minds today, students can face the challenges of tomorrow. Since August 2019, Dr. Davis has been highly motivated, energetic, and dedicated to Carroll. Let us all show Dr. Davis, how much we appreciate all he has done, all that he does, and how we love him.

Thank you for your cooperation. You are appreciated every day. If you have any questions in regard to this event, please feel free to contact Gwendolyn Dickson, Chairperson, at (318) 791-8977. May God richly bless each of you!!
