The Monroe City School Board will receive sealed, written bids for the purchase of three (3) pre-owned school buses until Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at 10:00 AM CST at the School Board Central Office, located at 2006 Tower Drive, Monroe, LA 71201. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.
Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the designated time in the Board Room.
Vehicle Specifications:
- Two (2) Special Education (SPED) School Buses (Model Year 2023 or later)
- One (1) Conventional Route School Bus (Model Year 2024 or later)

Detailed specifications, minimum requirements (including maximum mileage, passenger capacity, and specialized equipment standards), and official bid forms may be obtained from the Monroe City School Board Purchasing Department at the address above. Submission Guidelines:
Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: “Bid for 3 Pre-Owned School Buses – Bid# MC27-04”. Electronic bids must be submitted securely through Bid Express at www.bidexpress.com prior to the submission deadline.
The Monroe City School Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in accordance with Louisiana Public Bid Law.
