The University of Louisiana Monroe has a proud athletic tradition, and no basketball player has contributed more to that tradition than Calvin Natt. As the all-time leader in both scoring and rebounding, a first-round NBA Draft selection, NBA All-Star, and ULM Hall of Fame member, his accomplishments represent the highest level of excellence achieved by a Warhawk basketball player.
Retiring Calvin Natt’s jersey would not only honor an extraordinary athlete, but would also recognize a Monroe and Bastrop native whose success brought national recognition to the university. We respectfully call upon ULM to permanently retire Calvin Natt’s jersey and celebrate his legacy for future generations of Warhawks. Only then can we love where we live and live where we love.
