Funeral services for Eddie Burdette were held Saturday at the Greater Free Gift Baptist Church.
Mr. Burdette died on March 16, 2024. He was 60 years old.
Mr. Burdette was born on March 27, 1963, to the union of Mary Harris Compton and Alvin Burdette. He transitioned from this earthly life on March 16, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Burdette; sister, Gail Browning; and wife, Sherryl Burdette.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter, Brittany Burdette; two stepdaughters, Feleasha Austin and Tyranda Austin; mother, Mary Harris Compton; sister, Betty Burdette; three brothers, Tommy Boyden, Ricky Whitening, and John Smith; grandchildren, Dashanae Austin, Antoine Standifer, and Carter Standifer; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services were handled by McFarland Funeral Companies.
