Joyce Renae Sims, a dedicated local educator, passed away on June 12, 2026, at the age of 58.
A celebration of her life and service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, located in Monroe, Louisiana.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a public visitation on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home in Monroe.
Following the funeral service on Saturday, Sims will be laid to rest in Red Hill Cemetery in Mer Rouge, Louisiana. All arrangements are under the professional direction and care of Smith Funeral Home of Monroe.
