In a unanimous decision, the Monroe City Council has approved a significant contract with AT&T to initiate the construction of a comprehensive fiber optic network across Monroe.
This project, valued at approximately $27 million, includes a $25 million investment from AT&T and a $2 million match from the city.
David Aubrey, President of AT&T Louisiana and Mississippi, emphasized the collaborative nature of this venture.
